The Dominion Theatre

The Dominion Theatre is located adjacent to Tottenham Court Road tube station in the London Borough of Camden close to St. Giles Circus and Centre Point.

Originally constructed in 1928 the Dominion Theatre was converted to cinema use in 1930. On six occasions the Dominion Theatre has hosted the Royal Variety Performance. In 2001 the performance was attended by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. In previous years the Royal Variety Performance at the Dominion Theatre was attended by Price Charles, Princess Diana and many members of the Royal Family. We Will Rock You, the rock theatrical show based on the music of Queen, opened at the Dominion Theatre in 2002. The show is still going strong and has been produced many successful international versions around the world.

The Dominion Theatre is one of the largest theatres in the West End with a seating capacity for 2,069 patrons within two tiers of galleries.  This West End Theatre retains its 1920s light fittings and art deco plasterwork.

The Dominion Theatre is centrally located in the heart of London and also hosts conferences and events. The West End Theatre currently has seven event spaces which are available for corporate and private hire. The Dominion Theatre also has great conferencing and training facilities. The West End Theatre also runs Theatre workshops can also offer backstage tours.
